SEEING RED MAT CHALLENGE
Lisanne Miller reports that she received the first entry in the Seeing Red Mat Challenge on March 3!
For more information about the challenge, see the Feb/Mar issue of ATHA NEWSLETTER. The challenge is to hook a mat that is 9x12 inches, in any style and fiber, which celebrates the color red.
This question has come up several times: Does the mat have to be all red, or just partially red? Answer: It's up to the artist. It is the artist's decision how she/he wishes to celebrate the color red.
Don't forget to check out this issue of the ATHA NEWSLETTER (Feb/Mar), for the list of Region 9 vendors and teachers in the center pull-out section. It's a great list to have for reference.
And please consider sending your rug photos with a short article to editor Judy Long,
